Each verse of this song have a big mean, accord with the singers is refering to a broken heart, when Charley sing the chorus is refering to one of his friends that a little time ago his girl broke up his heart.
On the other hand, when Selena start to sing her part of this song, she is making reference to her exes.
Selena takes the high road, not wishing bad upon her past boyfriend, but instead hoping that he is being properly cared for by a woman that loves him like she did.
At the same time this line is a stab to her opposition. Selena knows, and iterates throughout the song that she loved him the entire time with all of her heart while he treated love like a game. She is saddened that he has moved on, but she also knows he is not going to change and that the next girl will have the same problems.
